Hi *SM-ers!
Last Friday I was trying to change my 3575 library configuration. I tried to
change the amount of I/O slots from 16 (2+14) to 2 (2+0). I varied the
library online afterwards and I ran a AUDIT LIBRARY. It resulted in the
following error:

07/28/2000 15:04:57 ANR2017I Administrator XI01EL issued command: AUDIT LIBR

failed.

BACKGROUND completed with completion state FAILURE at 15:05:04.

I tried having the library refresh it's inventory database by initiating a
init element status from the library control panel and by turning the
library off and on, but that did not help. I had to change the library
configuration back to 2+14 again.
Anybody seen this before?
Thanks for your reply in advance!
Kindest regards,
Eric van Loon
