Hello All,
I am tasked with the responsibility of developing a proposal for a new ADSM
server. Presently, we have an IBM J40 w/ 256 MB ram, 25 GB of disk
storage. We are using dlt2000 drives.
What I would like to poll from you all is: What IBM AIX box you would use
and what tape technology you would use. I have gotten info on dlt8000's
and the ait drives. Are there others I should be considering? What are
people using today.
Thanks for your input and I have learned a lot from being on this list.
I will share the results if anyone is interested.
Marc Taylor
