Re: insufficient number of mount points

Hello everyone,
I think he problem with the mount point has to with the fact that I
didn't yet create the device on Solaris for TSM to use.
The manual says that you need to configure the file
/usr/kernel/drv/mt.conf.
Then run the following command:
/usr/sbin/add_drv -m '* 0666 bin bin' /usr/kernel/drv/mt
When I do this I get the following message:
drvconfig: Drive (mt) faild to attach
warning: Driver (mt) successfully added but faild to attach
Ayone seen this before?
I have a 4mm tape drive on Solaris 2.6.
My server is TSM 3.7.3.0
The drive works fine on Solaris using the "tar" command.
(tar -cvf /dev/rmt/0 /home/*)
TSM can't seem to access it
Hope you can help me with this.
