Clarence,

Whenever I have had this problem in the past I have found the quickest fix
is to remove the adsm scheduler and reinstall it. It is usually caused by a
password error how it is caused is unknown to me but I have always been
successful by doing the following.

From the NT command line cd to where ever your baclient is and type:
dsmcutil remove /name:"ADSM Scheduler"

To reinstall it type:
dsmcutil install /name:"ADSM Scheduler" /node:nodename /password:password
/autostart:yes

If you password fails to work then remove the service again log onto your
adsm server and change the password for the node then reinstall the
scheduler on you node.
