MVS has to leave the cartridge in insert status, this mean category FF00.
0013 is the scratch category for MVS for 3590 cartridges.
In order to do this, the tape management software in MVS need to code or
modify the CBRUXENT exit.
If you are using DFSMSrmm it is very easy because there is a command REJECT
ANYUSE (XXXXX) xxxxx means the patern you have selected for TSM to use, and
leave it in insert status for other system to use.

Once you have your tape in insert category *SM has to give either the
command CHECKIN or LABEL according to whether the cartridge is labelled or
no.
Hope this help.
Regards
Maria
