One thing... your include/exclude list will also be scanned for use with an
archive...
you may bind the files at that level... so maybe something like :

include /oracle/test/.../* archive_mgmtclass_for_test_data
include /oracle/production/.../* archive_mgmtclass_for_prod_data

WOW ! ! ! found a GLITCH ! ! !

OK, if you use an "include" statement it will bind a archive to the
management class listed in the statement...
if you use an "exclude" statement it will NOT bind the archive to the
mgmtclass specified but will bind it to the "default" management class for
that domain... I just tested this :
Size Archive Date - Time File - Expires on - Description
---- ------------------- -------------------------------
336 07/03/00 08:15:29 /home/zdec23/bin/accntredo 08/07/00 Archive
336 07/03/00 08:15:29 /home/zdec23/bin/accntredo 08/07/00 Archive
Date: 07/03/00
336 07/03/00 08:17:45 /home/zdec23/bin/accntredo 09/01/00 Archive
Date: 07/03/00
with both an include & an exclude I bound it to my 60 day archive management
class... the exclude didn't work...
and no it didn't use the archive retention grace period of the domain...
that is 30 days

THIS IS BROKE ! this is under TSM 3.7.2.0 server with TSM 3.7.2.0 aix
client

in "ADSM" it would bind it to the specified management class if it was an
include or exclude...

LOOK for how to specify an "ARCHMC" in the "ebu" stuff... in an archive
statement you may use the "-archmc=blah" to bind that archive to the
specific management class specified... (I'm sure the ebu stuff has some way
to allow you to use this parameter)
