You have to use the "unroot" program that comes with SQL-BACKTRACK. The
backups must be ran as user oracle and this program takes care of this.

You should setup the ADSM scheduler to execute a command, something like this:

/oracle/datatools/obsi.adsm/bin/unroot backup_script_name

Hi:

We recently installed SQL-BACKTRACK for ORACLE on AIX to backup ORACLE 7.3.4.

When the generated scripts are run as ORACLE the backups go fine. However,
when trying to schedule them under ADSM (running as root), they error out.
We do not have this problem with the SQL-BACKTRACK for SYBASE on AIX.

Does anyone use this product and ADSM to schedule backups of ORACLE? Do
you have a similar problem?
