If you can take your server out of service for awhile, you can do a full
database backup, then
restore your previous database (Set your system clock back so that you don't
expire the
data as soon as you restart the server) restore the file, then restore the
database back
to the current time. This is quicker than the second server option.
Problem is that once the users know that they can go back further than four
copies, they will
start to expect it.
