Hi Jason,
the 3rd one should work.
Do not forget to restart your scheduler after modifying your incl/excl list.
Hope this helps
Here is an example for my site .
$ grep adsm incl_excl
exclude.fs /adsm/db/.../*
exclude.fs /adsm/log/.../*
$df -k
/dev/adsm_db11_lv 3883008 3412 100% 19 1% /adsm/db/db11
/dev/adsm_db12_lv 3883008 3412 100% 19 1% /adsm/db/db12
/dev/adsm_db21_lv 3883008 3412 100% 19 1% /adsm/db/db21
/dev/adsm_db22_lv 3883008 3412 100% 19 1% /adsm/db/db22
/dev/adsm_log11_lv 507904 2984 100% 18 1% /adsm/log/log11
/dev/adsm_log12_lv 507904 2984 100% 18 1% /adsm/log/log12
/dev/adsm_log21_lv 507904 2984 100% 18 1% /adsm/log/log21
/dev/adsm_log22_lv 507904 2984 100% 18 1% /adsm/log/log22

Subject: Include.Exclude question.
AIX 4.2.1
ADSM Server 2.42
ADSM Client 3.1.07
I have a filesystem called /flare and am trying to totally exlcude it from
an incremental backup.
I have tried the following without success
exclude.fs "/flare"
exclude.fs "/flare/*"
exclude.fs /flare
exclude.fs /flare/*
all without any success.
I have tried exclude /flare/.../* and this works fine.
Has anyone got exclude.fs to work and if so how did you do it !!!!!!
Cheers Jason
