It  was very smooth for us.

If you are on the last ADSM level  (ie, 3.1.2.50), and that your ADSM box is
up-to-date in PTF (either AIX or NT),
you won't have serious pb. Also check your drive/library microcode

Tell us more about your env, HARD, OS, LIBRARY, DRIVE, OCCUPANCY.

Our is is TSM 3.7.2 in SP/2 Node w/ STK9740 + DLT7 + 100 clients / 1TB

Subject:  ADSM V3.1



I was just told that Tivoli will be dropping support for ADSM V3.1 by
January 2001. I can't understand why we weren't given V3.7 to begin with
since we only got it last October. So it looks like I'm faced with upgrading
to V3.7 sometime soon. Does anyone have any experience with this? What kind
of problems am I looking at? I can't believe this is going to be a smooth
transition. There's got to be a load of things I'll have to check before and
after the upgrade.

Help please....
