Presuming you're at least on ADSM v3... A simple method is to build the
list
as a shell-script, each line contains a prefix variable that resolves to
"dsmc -desc=xyz etc..." followed by the filespec;  then, using the same
archive description option value (on each invocation) results in the named
package to contain all the files, as requested.
