Bill, you are correct. For faster recovery, especially for entire machines, It
is MUCH better to use the command line. The Gui over-head
during file examination process causes this. Also, using -quite plus
tweaking mountpoints help. The performance guide gives examples.

Gary,
I have been involved in some dr test where I saw a significant
improvement in restore times while using the command line instead of the
gui. I have also seen improvements with passing the -quiet parameter, this
parameter works well when restoring full drives or file systems because
people usually want to see single files restore.
