There were a couple of performance problems at this level which we found
went away when we went to the level 20.0 server (PTF UQ40683). One in
particular, PQ35568, seemed to describe our problem.

We just went to TSM 3.7 level 1.0 on our OS/390 2.6 server. Since
converting I have noticed that TIVOLI seems to be extremely slow when more
then one process is running. (Compared to ADSM 3.1 level 2.40). I had 2
MIGRATION processes running and then I ran a QUERY VOLUME command. The
command took 5 minutes to complete. When no migrations are running it took
9 seconds!!! Is anyone aware of MULTITHREADING problems with TSM? Any info
would be appreciated.
