At least in the us you can check the list prices yourself with ibmlink
IBMLINK is available for non-us, sites, I just do not know if prices
are available.

Use your host connection if you have it.

If you do not have an host connection then go to url
http://www.ibmlink.ibm.com and do the following:

Pick the proper world region.

Then either go to announcements and look up the announcement letter

299-281 dated 19990928 Tivoli Storage management ......

This appears to work with out an ibmlink userid and password.

With an IBMLINK userid and password you can go to Sales Manual and
check out the price there.

It can take some time to understand all IBM's twists and turns with
the option choices.

For a like system IBM says up to 50% off the new list price. But as
some of the old extra cost options are now part of the base and some
things that were part of the base require a new extra cost option,
you results may change.

Another thing to remember is that the sales folks may be quoting you
an option which you do not have now and may not require in the future.

Good luck and let us know how you make out.
