RMAN vs password generate
2000-04-18 11:48:14
hi Susan,
In your dsm.sys file if you have a server stanza like
servername server_a
commmethod tcpip
tcpipport 1500
tcpserveradd 9.111.11.11
passwordaccess generate
Use a different dsm.opt file for the agent with different server stanza name.
for agent, in your dsm.opt file
servername server_aorcagent
in the dsm.sys file, add the following:
servername server_aorcagent
commmethod tcpip
tcpipport 1500
tcpserveradd 9.111.11.11
passwordaccess prompt
This will solve your problem.
regards,
Thiha
