Hello,

due to numerous problems with SFT3, we adandonned this clustering solution.

The main problem was following:

the 2 clustered servers were HP hardware, connected via FFDI to our network.
Novell recommend a network connection throughput less than 25% of the
internal link throughput between the 2 clustered servers. This internal
throughput is about 100 Mbit/s, about the same as our FDDI connection ->
problem !

As you know, the internal link is used to synchronise the disks but also the
storage. I think it would work well on a much slower network connection like
TokenRing 16 Mb.

But anyway, concerning Adsm, it should work fine, at the following
condition:

give only 1 IP adress to the cluster, thus defining only 1 client.
