For general access to the files from the other node,
the -VIRTUALNodename option should be used.
For access to files which one user has granted you,
use the -FROMNode option.
(They are often confused, and many people use -FROMNode where they should be
using -VIRTUALNodename.  While -FROMNode may happen to work in some cases,
it is not defined to, and should not be used that way.)
