Hi!

The following works to restore a volume from one server to another. Just
specify the path and it wont be a problem with files either.
In command line, where else to work?

load sys:adsm\dsmc -nodename=ServerX
check source, q fi (show ServerX)
restore ServerX\data1:* data2:\ -subdir=yes (data2 is the volume on the
other server)
quit

Subject:  Netware Restore




Anyone every try to restore files to another Netware Server.  I have been
able
to do it in NT. But through the Web GUI
 in Novell if you map a drive to the certain Server then select for example
G:\TEST as your selected destination for restored objects .  You get
ANS2617S
The destination directory specified is invalid.
