Is this component even related to TSM? My take on it is it allows you to
backup an NT box to a locally attached tape drive and create 4 diskettes
which you can then use to fully restore the box in the event of a disaster..
But the data itself never goes to your TSM server it?s all put on tape!  The
only way TSM can be used with it at all is in scheduling!

Doesn?t seem very useful.. I originally thought it was a component that
would allow you to fully backup an NT box to TSM and then be able to do a
bare metal restore from a few disks. But that?s not that case at all from
what I gather.

So the only way to do a bare metal restore is back to the method of creating
a repair partition. Now if my entire site burns down I?m not going to have
that either.. So I?d be left with only one option and that?s to buy a new
box, install NT, install TSM BA client, and restore..   i.e. not a bare
metal restore.

Do I have all this right? Heh..
