As far as I know this is the way:
ADSM can send traps to a Management Station ( e.g TME10/Netview ). There
you have all the choises to configure additional actions. The only problem
is that you get only few different trap-types out of ADSM, so you have to
look into them and do the filtering ( e.g. mount reqest ) by your own.

Are there other ways of informing an admin that a tape needs to be mounted
other then running dsmadmc in ?mountmode or ?consolemode and watching for
it
onscreen? For example can TSM send an e-mail or page when a tape needs to
be
checked in?
