I am new to the ADSM world. I am currently on assignment with a major
corporation.
Our ADSM is backing up Tera-bytes of data. I need to be able to move large
amounts of data from one UNIX server to another (both being backed up by the
same ADSM server). The problem is the amount of data to be moved is too large
for our backup window. Is there a way to edit the ADSM data base to mark the
"new" files as being already backed up? (change the archive bit or
something?...Edit the Data Base to change the Server name and the name of the
filesystem on the affected data?)
We are using these HP-UX servers as NFS servers. We are trying to move the
home directories from one server to another to facilitate a major restructuring
of data on the "old" server.
