I just became the proud owner of an ADSM system and I need some help in
recovering tape space from expiring the Informix logs and setting up a copy
group. We use a schedule of level 0 every Sat with
level 1 the rest of week. I need to keep at least the last 2 (level 0,1)
archives (2 weeks). Can someone using ADSM/Informix give me a hand?

adsm > show versions gives (example:)

I have compiled and used the logexpire.c program (much thanks).
I am using AIX 4.3.2 and ADSM server 3.1.2.40 and ADSM client 3.1.6.
Our Informix version is 7.31.UC3X1.

        archive retention 365 days

Backup Copy Group:

management class INFDBSDATA

        Number of backup versions to keep
                If client data exists:  no limit
                If client data is deleted:      1

        Length of time to retain extra backup version
