Eric T,

Please excuse delay in response.

No, I did not delete the filespace before removing the node. I could see no
filespaces to delete (q filespace).
I didn't really expect the node
to be removed either but it vanished (and in a flash!).

q auditocc shows nothing for this client any more - that is, the client
does not appear in the output at all. As I mentioned in my earlier note,
the client is well and truly removed. But what about the filespaces?

To summarise everything.
1: node existed and q auditocc was showing X GB occupied by backups (which
had been created by EBU). However q filespace showed nothing for this node.

2. node data no longer required. EBU had been removed from client so I
couldn't use EBU to delete the data which
had been backed up. And I couldn't see any filespaces to delete with q
filespace. Node was removed successfully by
command.

3. Node no longer shows up in output to q auditocc. But I'm wondering if
the data is still there. There is a lot of housekeeping going on and it's
not clear if any of the cartridges which have been freed up are as a
consequence of the delete node.

I know EBU backups are treated 'differently'. But are they really gone?
What is the expected result of these steps?

Regards and thanks
