What do I need to get this level of Informix to work with TSM API 3.7.1.0?

We are getting this error when using the new TSM client with Informix Onbar:
  ERROR: Version 3.7.1 of the XBSA shared library is not compatible with
         version 1 of ON-Bar.

The old ADSM API client code contained a readme explaining how to create
bsashr10.o from the archive libXApi.a and how to set up the links to it.

With TSM, libXApi.a contains xbsa.o.
