Ensure you have AIX 4.2.1, 4.3 or later with Motif 1.2 or 2.0 installed.

So is it supported or not??

We have one machine in production and plans to upgrade the second server
within a week.

                The Tivoli Storage Manager 3.7
                AIX server is supported on AIX 4.3.1, 4.3.2, and 4.3.3.

                Future, near term requirements will force our hand in
                changing our build environment.  From that point on,
                servers built in that environment will not even load
                on AIX 4.2.  The README will have a notice
                of the change.
