Don't make it tooo big, but other wise it performs just fine.

What is too big? We use (Compaq) twin 400 MHz CPUs, 512 MByte memory, 84
slot DLT library, 4 x DLT7000 drives and 30 * 9.1 GByte disks (arranged 5 +
hot spare in RAID-5 for operating system and database, and 6 * 4 disks as
disk cache), two dual port network cards, 2 differential SCSI cards to the 4
drives, 2 disk controller cards. We wouldn't want to go much bigger,
especially on the disk space.

On anything smaller, you are nowhere near the technical limits of Intel or
NT, and so system performance should not be a problem - just tape
performance as always.

Cheers, Chris
