You might need the latest fixtest (You can download the FIXTEST (1.1.1.01)
from the IBM FTP site at
ftp.software.ibm.com), but once you have that: No, there are no problems
with backups and restores.

16 GByte is NOT a limit any longer for Exchange databases. We regularly do
25 GBytes backups (about 1.5 hours) and restores (about 2.5 hours).

In the general context of Exchange, a "huge" databases would need to be
larger than 100 GByte.
