Hi: To do a full backup you do a:
dsmc selective subdir=yes /
this will grab all file and subdirectories, but not separate mount points, so
you need to do a df at the command line to see all you mount points and do a
selective on each

Hi,

I would like to get some advice about how to fully backup a directory
(filesystem) on sp2 system.

Currently, I have incremental backup for that directory. This directory is
a filesystem and it include two disks and one of disks is failed. We need
replace the disk and restore it as quick as possible, so I have been
asked to ignore the incremental backups and create something like full
backup onto only one tape.

Is it called archive? how to I setup a temporaty archive it to a tape?

Any comments will be apprecated

Thanks in advance
