I've already tried this... without success.

I got a suggestion from someone about increasing the idletimeout value on
the server. However, after increasing the idletimeout to 60 minutes, I
still have the same problem.

I believe this is usually caused when there is a mismatch between what the
server thinks is the password and what the client thinks is the password.
Try updating the password on the server:

update node nodename password

The next time the client attaches it should prompt you for the new
password.
