Orin,

For running scheduled backups, we put in the preschedulecmd option and
postschedulecmd  in the client options file of the node.  Here is an
example:

Preschedulecmd   'net stop "SmartCD Server"'
Postschedulecmd  'net start "SmartCD Server"'

Just substitute the name of your service in place of "SmartCD Server"  Don't
forget to stop and restart the scheduler after making the change to the
options file.
