Couple of things to keep in mind, ADSM reads the inc/exc list from the
bottom up and stops on the first match, if no match is found it assumes the
file should be backed up. Generally a good layout for the list is to have
your directories you want backed up as include statements on the bottom,
and then exclude everything else with a few statements. Below is a small
sample of what I mean.
EXCLUDE ?:\*
EXCLUDE ?:\...\*
INCLUDE d:\users\*
INCLUDE d:\users\...\*
INCLUDE d:\public\*
INCLUDE d:\public\...\*
Also remember to restart the scheduler after any changes, I know this has
already been stated, but it's easy to overlook.
