This is true with 3.1.  However, a new table exists in 3.7 called EVENTS.
I just went to my V3.7 test server.  I ran q event * * and came back with
one event.  I then ran select * from EVENTS and it came back with "No match
found using this criteria".  That appears to mean that there are no records
in the EVENTS table.  Well, maybe you still can't select events in 3.7
either but there is a new table.....  I wonder if this was code that never
got completed.
