The only way I can think to do that would be to have a different
deviceclass name for each pool.  Then you can set the number of mount
points through that.  This is not a new device type (drive), so the drives
will share between the pools, but you can restrict the number of mount
points for each pool.

This is not pretty, as you can't change a pool that is already built, but
if you want to segregate this client in its own pool, this may work for
you.
