1) You CAN'T !
When you modify a schedule, you loose all the past events !
ADSM consider that this is a new schedule and delete all old events.

2) be more specific, a adsm-script ? a shell-script ?
running from where ? ADSM or UNIX ?
All you can do is a :
adsm> can sess <sessID>
adsm> can proc <procID>

Two issues:
1) Why is the querying of admin schedule events unable to see events
prior to the most recent change to that schedule? How might I get around
this?
2) How can an entire script execution be canceled?
