I'm guessing that your using the AIX version of ADSM?
I know that with the NT OS you don't really want to play around with the
dates alot.
We did Y2oK testing and forn problems with NT when we went backwards in time
after rolling forward.
We ended up rebuilding the NT server and all was well. Maybe unix is just a
picky?

Subject: query about Y2K
Hi colleagues,
we have noticed a strange behaviour in ADSM. We have a
machine running ADSM server 3.1.2.20. In november we
changed the date from november to january of 2000. We
were doing a lot of tests with good results. After
that we changed the date to november. Then, the first
day of year, the actlog showed in the actlog the
entries of test that we ran in november. We think this
behaviour is why the log is a table, and it has
registered the activity in the system. This entries
weren't removed in the actlog, and it is how ADSM
should work. Is it the normal behaviour?
.
Regards and Happy New Year
