in Unix simply type the command 'dsmc'. This shows you the version of the
command line backup/archive interface installed on the client. You leave
the interface by entering 'quit'.
Another way is to ask the server. To do this enter the command 'query node
node_name f=d' on the adsm server. One of the displayed informations is
'Client Version'.  You can accomplish this of course with the web admin gui
too.
