There is no model of the AS/400 on the market yet that can use the 3590E
drives to their full extent, only the new 8XX models which will start
shipping in Q2 2000.

There are two different models of the 3590B drives, normal and Ultra... (we
had so many problems with the Ultra drives and ADSM that we switched it on
an other server...)

When you do get your drives, keep in mind that with an AS/400 ADSM Server,
you must change the Estimated Capacity Value of the Devc to reflect the new
drive capacity... if you don not do this, all calculations of  %  reclaim
etc will be false...

If you have questions about 3590 and the AS/400 and the tape capacity, ask
me...
