Dwight,

     These volumes are in a STK silo - not 3494.  They are still stored in the
silo from the export, and the first volume was successfully allocated and
mounted on a drive, but kicked down with the 813-04 error upon reading the
internal label on the volume.

Did you make sure and checkout the libvolume(s) from the 1st adsm server and
check them into the 2nd ?
If they are not libvolumes... does your tape management system know the
tapes are associated with (may be accessed by) the 2nd adsm server (if they
are running on the same 390 system)
