Alyn,
I'm using a single blank to separate multiple objects. The ADSM server
level at my side is 3.1.2.42 and running under AIX.
regards
Rainer

Thema: Objects syntax for client schedule
What is the correct "objects" syntax to selectively backup
multiple filespace of directories.
I want to backup /u16/export/ and /u16/bckup_applcsf/
As I read the HELP it saying that "You can specify more than one object by
separating the objects with commas, with no intervening spaces. " so I
defined my client schedule following
client schedule: ITA-EXPORT
Description ITA-EXPORT /u16 directory
Action SELECTIVE
Options
Objects /u16/export/,/u16/bckup_applcsf/
Priority 1
Start date 12/13/1999
Start time 14:43:00
Duration 1
Duration units HOURS
Period 1
Period units DAYS
Day of Week ANY
Expiration
But the schedule is failing and getting following error in dsmerror.log
file.
12/13/99 14:45:28 ANS4006E Error processing '/u16': directory path not
found
12/13/99 14:45:28 ANS1512E Scheduled event 'ITA-EXPORT' failed. Return
code = 4.
Thanks in advance for your input.
Alyn
