Could anyone confirm whether a 3590 tape is rewound or not rewound after a file 
write is completed and the tape is not dismounted.  For faster access, it would 
make sense to rewind on an unload only.  For AIX, it would be using /dev/rmt0.1 
instead of  /dev/rmt0 to append files to a tape.
