PTF IP21874 Now Available

We have just made Tivoli Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server
We have just made Tivoli Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server
version 1.1.1 (PTF IP21874) available for download. The PTF contains
APAR fixes and also some new function. You can download the PTF from
the Tivoli web page or the INDEX.STORSYS.IBM.COM FTP site.

  The parts:

    IP21874.EXE          - Self extracting install file.
                           Download binary and run the EXE file
                           to install the PTF.

    IP21874.CD.EXE       - Self extracting ZIP file of the PTF CD.
                           Download binary and run the EXE file
                           to extract the installation files into
                           the current directory.  Then run SETUP
                           to install the PTF.

    IP21874.README.1ST   - README file with PTF content information.


Here is just a peek of what the PTF contains:

 Support has been added for Exchange Server running in a
   Microsoft Cluster Server environment.

 TDP for Exchange Log Pruning has been added.

 The TSM server's filespace information is updated with backup
   start and backup end dates.

 Backup, Restore and Delete statistics are now logged to
   the TSM server activity log.

 Command output, screens, messages, on-line help and
   documentation have been updated to reflect a change in the
   product name from ADSMConnect Agent for Microsoft Exchange
   Server to Tivoli Data Protection for Microsoft Exchange Server.

 TSM API files are installed to a common directory.

 The TDP for Microsoft Exchange Server Installation and User's Guide
   includes message documentation in Appendix E.

 The default value for the number of buffers has been changed
   from 2 to 3.  The default value for buffersize has been
   changed from 64 to 1024.

 The following APARs have been handled:
   IC20843, IC22589, IC23327
