Look at the activity log to see the volume used and enter at the command line

Hello all,
can anybody offer me a solution for generating reports on client archives.
We run archive schedules for departments on a periodic basis and they would like
a report of what is archived each time. Are there any reporitng tools on the
market that can perform such an action?
