Hi.

I am using the select command to get some information about backups.
One of the fields is LL_NAME.  The problem is, that when a LL_NAME
contains a ~ character, the command dies with:

ANS8001I Return code 4.

I should also note that at the point the ~ is, the line splits.  Here is
an example:

ANDYC,/,/dos/qws3270/,README.TXT,1999-08-05 11:27:24.000000
ANDYC,/,/dos/qws3270/,SHORTC
,1999-08-05 11:27:24.000000
ANS8001I Return code 4.

the file is SHORTC~1.LNK.  Is there any way around this?  Thanks for any
help.
