Hello everyone.

Has anyone ever experienced archiving a filesystem that takes
soooo long, say 3 hours, that after bouncing the server, it takes
only 22 minutes to complete?

No tape or I/O error in the activity log. No error in the errpt log.
No error in the high speed switch logs. No error found, period.

Just a side note, we do bounce the server every Friday after the
DB backup is completed successfully.  Incidentally, that day the
server was not bounced.

Any ideas, anyone?
