3494 lib classifies volumes in catagories. There are
catagories for administrative tasks (like eject, newly
arrived). ADSM's default catagory is 300, assigned
on the server when you create the library (private
catagory is 300, scratch is 301, uncomment 3590 enable
on dsmserv.opt and 3590 scratch will be 302).

When tapes are inserted, you should assign them a
catagory with mtlib command.

11/14/99   09:12:14  ANR8774W Volume 000168 not checked into library
IBM3494A  but is using category 300.
