Environment:
Server: ADSM 3.1.2.20 on AIX 4.3.2
Client: Windows NT 4.0 sp4, ADSM client v3.1.0.3 (prompted), DB2 Personal
Edition version 6.1 Workgroup Edition.

Is anybody backing up DB2 ver6.1 with ADSM?
How exactly do you do it?

What I am planning is the following:
a preschedule command referenced by the option file that issues a "db2
stop", then a "db2 backup dbname use adsm"
option file that specifies the rest of the files we need to back up
a postschedule command referenced by the option file that issues a "db2
start"

Will this work?
DB2's backup requires password setup just like an adsm client does. So,
what I see happening is the following:
Server contacts client, client gets session.
The client runs PreScheduleCmd, DB2 gets another session (is this possible?
Is having two sessions OK? is what i am describing actually what would
happen?)
DB2 backs up to ADSM.
Then the other files listed in the option file get backed up.
Postschedule command restarts db2.
