Strange Connect Agent Error

Subject: Strange Connect Agent Error

Saturday night while attempting to perform a full backup on an Exchange
Server using the ADSM Connect Agent for MS Exchange I received the following
error:

Exchange Error: There is no backup in progress

Does anyone have any idea what this is supposed to mean?

ADSM Server 3.1.2.20 for Windows NT , NT 4.0 SP4
Exchange Server , Win NT 4.0 SP4, Exchange 5.5 SP2
