Hello,

I very interested in knowing if/when ADSM will be ndmp protocol
compliant. NFS mounting the server has not proven to be practical. The
main issues we have regarding the nfs solution would be:
1. needing to fun the client on the server is not an efficient use of
the servers resources.
2. The performance of both backup and restore functions suffer.

If anyone has any info a response would be greatly appreciated. IBM?
