"dsmcutil help"   can give you the full description for each commandline option.
  Also, be careful with IP, hostname, adsm nodename definitions for ADSM
clients. Because ADSM
 use "ADSM Scheduler Service"  to start the backup on client, and this "Service"
is defined through
 "dsmcuitil install", and dsmcutil uses "dsm.opt" for Service, and this dsm.opt
should contain a valid
nodename, and this nodename IS USED BY ADSM SERVER to CONTACT Client when
scheduled event
comes, AND ALSO THIS scheduled event on ADSM server is associted (dsmadmc>q
assoc) to some
nodenames (clients).

that's the logic chain/...
