My vote goes to your security team. As Rich says passwords do not go over in
clear but there's nothing to stop someone guessing passwords
(dsmc -virtualn= -password=) or even trying to get admin access (dsmadmc).
Recent amendments such as granular control over password retries before
lockout are a step in the right direction however the absence of password
history and password content rules make the security model in place rather
primitive by todays standards.

I'm not saying there's an easy or perfect solution out there, we could just
get a bit closer to feeling more comfortable about the possibility of
someone completely trashing our ADSM server and the data on the disks of any
client running the scheduler.
